Cancelling 8ta contract and moving to VDSL

since 8ta and Telkom are one and the same ... is it possible to "upgrade" my 8ta 10gig contract to the new VDSL offering??? if notwhat will it cost to cancel my 8ta contract? ... (the idea of 20mbps sound good )

No that won't be possible, but you could try to get someone to take over the contract. They change all the details (owner details, banking details, etc) on the system. But even if you are in one of the few selected areas where VDSL is available, I would first apply, have them install it, and test it for at least a week, before getting rid of your 8.ta contract.

I've definitely heard of it before, but can't remember where or which operator. I've done it myself with at least 2 ADSL ISPs, so I don't see why it won't be possible with the CSPs.
