Haver you loaded a bundle on that sim in the last 30 days? You can only load one every 30 days.

Data Bundles

YES ! I have loaded a bundle last week. Does this mean I have to wait 30 days before loading again. This is rather strange as MTN should not refuse money coming to them. Nobody refuses money !

@DXL

If you loaded a 10mb bundle for example then you wouldn't be able to load another one until the end of your 30 day period we are working on a multiple data bundle offering but don't have a turnaround time at this stage

But they don't refuse your money. You are welcome to load as much airtime as you want and use it for data ... at out-of-bundle rates R2/MB!;)

Not the best solution but it's the only one that works

The point your customers are making is this. We would like to load another R10 (for example) data bundle, but your system does not allow it. We, therefore have accumulated a number of sim cards which we use in sequence. So there is already a work-around to the 'problem' created by MTN. To my mind the restriction is silly and adds to customer frsutration.

I add this to the poor decision by MTN to limit the time available to use up the 2GB data offering. If the 2GB is not used within 30 days, the money and credit disappears into MTN's coffers. This is simply WRONG!

cant understand why you guys are happy with your clients having 5 sims, what a wast of cell numbers.

when mtn announce they have " x million " customers, it cant be a true figure cause most pre-paid data users have mutiple soms and no's......

If the big boss does not think it is a major problem, just mention reduction in ARPU :rolleyes:

I'm running 2 SIMS at R10 pm. each And from the forum it is obvious it is a common practice.

BTW: The idiot who got it in his head to make it more difficult for people to spend money the way they would be happy should be fired!

BTW: I do hope MTN did not employ another idiot that ruled the coming multiple PPDB's per month, that if one use more than one, one will loose your date if you don't use it within a month of the first purchase for the month.

I couldn't agree with you guys more it's not ideal we creating ghost SIM'S on the network - But I can guarantee they are working on a multiple data bundle offering
