Canon 50mm 1.8 - Who bought them all?

Asked around a while ago, Orms, SACamera, and was told mid september, now its another 8 weeks, Audiovision at the waterfront has one for R1500? cameraland does not have, etc etc,

Anywhere obvious in Cape town that i am missing? Any advice?

did you try Orms in town and durban road (behind tygervalley)?
also there are a few small camera shops in Canal Walk... They carry a small range but you might be lucky (also photo connection if they're still there next to pick and pay)

i've walked around Canal walk for camera's as well, there seems to be only 2 shops, Digital Eye and fotofirst. i might have missed some though so i am not sure.

It's not that I use mine less. I just want an excuse to buy the 1.4
