Canon EF 17-35mm F/2.8 L USM

Okay I know this is an old lens, but is it worth buying at R3700, for a 500D?
What is the quality like?
And any other comments you have about the Lens please let me know. Thanks

Save up and buy a second-hand 17-55mm f/2.8 rather. Or the Tamron/Sigma options if the Canon is too expensive.

I would buy it. You are not going to get another lens with the same build quality and image quality at that price!! Yes it is old but still an excellent lens. You can get newer lenses like the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 (~R4000) and the Sigma 17-50 f2.8 (R7500) brand new as well.

These are hard to find second hand as no one wants to part with them
