Hi all
Probably something small, I'm a network noob.
I have a TP-Link Archer D9 which serves as my ADSL modem and router in the house. I have a Intellinet wireless AP connected to it via Ethernet cable, this AP sits in another part of the house. Everything works fine, I can access the internet if connected to the AP, but I can't wirelessly log in to the AP's config page to make changes etc. The only way I can log in to the AP is to directly connect it to a computer's Ethernet port.

I can log in to the Archer D9's config page whether wirelessly connected to the Archer or the AP, it's IP address is 192.168.1.1.
The IP address of the Intellinet AP is 192.168.2.1.

The IP address pool on the Archer is set to 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.199. Is this the problem, must I give the AP a IP address in that pool?

Thanks

What is your subnet mask? If its a 255.255.255.0 then you will need to put your AP is the same subnet (192.168.1.x)

Change the IP of the AP to 192.168.1.2. Should work just check that the DHCP function is turned off (if there is one)
