Can't log in Wow..Stuck at "handshaking"

Hi all..

Oky well this seems to have started on Sunday/14-10...

between 5-7pm..i type in my details and press log in but it just pauses nothing happens and eventually after 2mins of waiting it says disconnected ?...but if i try at 10pm it has no probs at all and goes in ?even during the day nothing seems to be wrong..

BUT when i try after 6ish .. i wont let me in?internet and downloads are all fine no hiccups

Any advice ?could this be my ISP ?

How full is your server? Switch to a low population server and see if the problem persists during that time?

Already done that..

reset dns ip as well ..

i just checked i can log in! but when it gets to 5pm there is no chance in hell that it will log in..

tried Dawn Of War last night when WoW wouldnt log in..DOW logs in just fine?but thats on a US server..Wow on a EU server..could this be my ISP ?if so what can i do...

Like I said, most likely you are on a high population server. The times you want to log in is very busy on the servers, and on high population servers people struggle to get connected during peak times. Try a different wow server and see if it is better for you at least then you can rule out the game and your connection.
Servers will most likely be busy for a few more weeks till the hype of pandaria have passed.

Havent had any problems logging in around 5pm or after
Have you tried opening a ticket with blizzard support or making a post on the battle.net forums ?

I also play on a high pop server, but still have heard of people on other high pop servers that were struggling to get connected.

If you are suspecting your ISP buy a month's worth of time with another ISP and test it out. Can recommend webafrica and afrihost.

Well tried it and tried LK as well..no luck still the same thing :/..so take it that rules out the game

Try replacing the DNS with google's ( 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 ) and reboot the router
