Can't open webpages

Hi there maybe someone got a quick fix for this problem ,modem connects fine e620 but internet explorer wont open any websites firefox doesthe same thing any help would be appreciated already uninstalled modem + software and reloaded driversand software did a repair install of winxp no luck only option is to reformatand reload unless someone got an idea .

open command prompt, and check if you can ping any websites. if you can check your browser settings if you cant have a look at you ip setup.

most websites block ICM requests (ping). Google allows pings:
ping www.google.co.za

MTN have been having problems the whole week. They only realised it over the past 2 days though rolleyes.

Not a good time to test anything. DNS is up the spout.
