I just thought, that building is truely burnt fvcked like we thought it would. Maybe time to look for a flat in a different building independent of the old building that now burnt down.
Looking for a a flat in a different building = leaving the country all together.

I lost brain cells while reading this.

My logic? I didn't offer up an exact solution as you claim my logic dictates that we throw a half empty bucket of water on an inferno. I simply pointed out that the WC seceding is a short sighted solution for the said inferno, which makes your statement that I offered up a solution invalid. Read carefully and think before replying to my posts, I didn't dub myself as Jimmy Neutron for the fvck of it.

This is literally the most neckbeard statement I have ever read on the internet.

Unfortunately that is not really true when the WC is the only province voting against the ANC in numbers. What SA needs is determined by the people and the people want ANC, except for in the WC.
WC is the only province voting against the ANC in numbers?

Debating with some people is pointless as they make up their own fairytale realities. But then again, I might be talking to someone who is a resident of the "Republic of the Western Cape" and thus are not aware of anything else happening outside the "RWC".

It does seem like 1 of those #whatabouts. The name of the party, really? Lets 1st become independent before complaining about the party name. Focus people, the name of the party is 100% not important at the moment!
A "whatabout"? Are you for real?
You do not think the name of a political party matters?

Better yet. Do you think the political party thinks the name of their party does not matter? That is is not a tool in service of their agenda?

Can we vote KZN out of South Africa :whistling:
Yes you can! My household is voting tonight about getting my property/plot out of SA. I say de-centralize everything as much as possible! The looting made great progress regarding this, making it a necessity immediately.

Of course you can...

We have a ready made army though to promptly conquer SA.. and they've had some recent combat experience.
Woah now - my folks are in KZN, in laws are in Western Cape, just how many passports would we need?
Plus this is KZN we're talking about - we're good with impromptu stuff but what you're suggesting sounds like you'd need to give KZN folk a time and date and that sounds like work so half wouldn't pitch.

Ok yeah, that plan has some flaws... fsck it.

I look forward to the Western Cape paying for all the government infrastructure along with Koeberg.

Or do they think they can just leave with it.

Why couldn't they?

WC has plenty of taxpayers which have already paid more than their share in comparison to what they receive from the national government.

South Africa has a lot of problems and very few solutions being offered, while some try fruitlessly to find solutions for themselves only and not the entire country. How sad.
True - I don't think this will actually solve any problems in our lifetime anyway.

Why couldn't they?
Because they don't own it.

Eskom owns Koeberg.
Portnet owns the Port of Cape Town.
Cape Town International Airport is owned by ACSA which is majority owned by the South African Government.
The National Road Network is owned by SANRAL.
The railroads are owned by PRASA and Transnet Freight.

How much do they pay and receive?
Better be a lot because they're going to be paying to use all that South African-owned infrastructure.

Or do they think they'll just be taking all of that?

Def not voting for the Cape Party, but would support full independence 100%. Don't want or need any revenue sources from the rest of SA, and am not willing to pay toward government expenses for rest of SA either.
