Unless there is looting, destruction and burning stuff nobody will take notice.

Erm, burning stuff ... maybe you've got that covered. ;)

Pity it's the same time as Africa Burn.

Care to elaborate? You do know that something like 1 in 5 South Africans smoke cannabis, right?

Where did you get that 1 in 5 BS from??? I just think that South Africa has bigger problems. Marching for dagga to be legalized is a slap in the faces of the real victims of South Africa.

Read it in Die Burger years ago.

More like... persecuting people who smoke the occasional joint is a waste of police time.

I'm all for Cannabis dispensed by prescription at special cannabis dispensaries like they have in the US. There's enough chronically ill cancer ridden and other chronic pain afflicted people who would really benefit.
A pharmacist told me that many years ago pure THC was available by prescription for pain relief and it worked better than anything he stocked, until some moronic bureaucrat made it illegal.
Personally I can't stand the stuff, but if it were legal I'd bake it into cookies and cakes and make Milkshakes and Ice cream of it.

that is democracy at its finest lol. You get synthetic cannabinoids that are more potent. Smoking it for medicinal purpose is all rubbish. If you wanted medicinal use you would use an elixir or a extracted isolate of some sort. Smoking week is more carcinogenic than cigarettes (see the post on cancer and cannibis in science forum)

It was used many many years ago but its utter rubbish that it was better than anything he stocked unless he had nothing else on his shelf. Heroin, morphine, cocaine where all legal drugs around then and they are far superior to cannibis. It was deleted because we have better drugs now.

Im not against smoking weed im against people talking rubbish medically to gain a vantage point to advocate weed. Smoking anything is bad ... end of story

Cannabis can be consumed by other means.

He's not that old so it wasn't removed so long ago and THC he was talking about was an elixir or a tincture produced by an SA company but a few steps down from morphine and used for specific kinds of pain like OA Apparently worked better than the s5 rubbish we have today. We had a long chat about it. And yes I am aware in the pre war days Cocaine was in just about everything as was Opium and morphine has been around since forever.
and talking about OA I just stumbled upon this Indian ad which is eeerie RKCj7Pg.jpg
