CapeXit? Separatists bid to split South Africa

There's that "[25% of WC tax vs WC services consumption]", again.

I recall the Cape Party making the claim back in 2020...

"[The Cape could halve taxes and double services on day one of independence]"

Any chance of (some) summarising? The vid is as long as a movie
If I can find some time, I will.

If anyone else is fortunate enough to have some time, please go ahead.

Otherwise, I'm sure the US visit by the CIAG will be summarized by way of a written article/s soon.

Pffft, blamers will blame.
The will to convert the try wasn't there either
I understand your frustration. But the fact is that the will to secede can only be measured by a referendum.

That has been denied the people.

Elections are for appointing political players in the current regime.

Agreed, it will reveal quite a bit more... but not a private referendum, that can't be professionally structured to the degree a proper political referendum can, and, private referendums are taken less seriously and even laughed at.

That said - the low support when push came to shove suggests that in our unique WC circumstances it won't be a result one can rely on in any meaningful way anyway.

What's needed is a new approach that can measure (and possibly encourage) actual will. What should that be? No varking idea :-/

Elections are for appointing political players in the current regime.

Not necessarily - those players can be voted out, leading to a whole change of leadership type.

Aand, what you're likely to add - that serious fraud was suspected by some in the elections - even if believable there's no ways it could have been carried out to such a massive degree.

Argue away, not sure there's anything else to discuss about it though.

Just vote them out, they said....

30 Years later...

The DA's cucks are holding this slippery totalitarian slope in place. They could have ended it by providing a safe haven for SAs best and strongest producers to expand their influence. They chose not to..... by placing their own political careers and ambitions ahead of the real Socialist prospects the minority, under a majoritarian system, is facing.

Biggest news in this movement in the last 24 - 48 hours is that the current US administration would formally recognize an independent Cape if it made sufficient progress.

This is following the visit by a CI delegation consisting of CIAG, CapeXit.org and Cape Independence Party.

The reasons to shrink the boundaries to get to that irrefutable mandate are not going away. Quite the contrary.

Unfortunately none of these CI advocates are taking this view.

Who did they meet with who gave that assurance?

Although based on the progress made over the last couple of decades, it's a bit of a stretch to think that CI could happen during the current US administration.

And with Trump going increasingly senile, he's unlikely to be able to recognise anything in the near future anyway.

You naysayers live in a bubble.

You think you are insulated from the economic effects of implementing encroaching Socialist policies.

And with Trump going increasingly senile, he's unlikely to be able to recognise anything in the near future anyway.
Next to Joe he at least has a pulse.

Next to Kommiela he at least hasn't completely sold out.

I know this might not be enough, but hey... he won't listen to me. I tried getting his attention on twitter and all I get is more Churchill and Lincoln worship.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

:giggle:

Trump is, by virtue of his adulation of the aforementioned Welfare-Warfare Statists, anti-FoA.

He's a paternalist. And the citizens are the children... some of whom are good and obedient and the others are self-indulgent, entitlement-minded little brats.

p.s. bear in mind the USA was founded by way of secession.

80 years later it went to war when some of the states repeated that process. The storal of that morey? What's good for me is not good for thee. Double standards.

Can't you rather just tell me? Video long.

He declined to name names because of the fact the movement is not close enough to the finish line(which the DA has a lot to answer for).

This is par for the course.

A foreign country's govt officials have to be aware of some diplomatic lines that may not be crossed.

I mean some of us have long had a strong sense this level of support would be there from a non-woke administration. But it appears to have been confirmed through a variety of meetings.

Hmmm, the sceptic in me says that there's another reason why they declined to name names... 😊

Nah.

Naming names would be blatantly throwing away the diplomatic moral high ground they recently achieved over SA govt officials.

That would be stupid. So stupid that if it does happen, I would strongly suspect sabotage.

Perhaps they should have kept their DC Macy's shopping trip a secret too, then...

I see no reason why they shouldn't disclose, unless whoever they supposedly met with is laughably un-influential.

Anyway, Joel Pillock has had enough free lunches and his moment in the sun has long passed.
