Yeah, they probably won't. Regarding Trump as one's lord and saviour is nevertheless a bad move. I would think that a significant number of CI fence sitters would be put off by the association.

The dedicated CI types are mostly in the pro Trump anti vaxxer loon cohort anyway. Please note I said "mostly"... 😂

Never say never.

Most often a PoTUS left holding the economic Rosemary's baby doesn't see another term.... meaning the reds would have to vote in a replacement for DT. I think they'll have to anyway but the fact they are holding the 'baby' when the music stops is going to make it v. difficult.

Two things. Firstly, with an emphasis on "if". The CI movement has had its thumb firmly cemented in its ass for nearly two decades, so that's a big if.

And I'm also repeating my point that an association with Trump would deter some much needed fence sitters. Perhaps Elon can programme Grok with some CI brainwashing.

You think Joe is/was as corrupt as Donny? OK then.

The CI movement would be better placed using it's resources to engage with the locals, rather than going off on a Washington junket. Unless they're fishing for an independent homeland in Wyoming or something.

I don't see him achieving much though - I really believe that real support for CI is wildly over estimated.

And an apology to CIP supporters, I know they tried hard too in the past and just had their hands more tied.
Maybe it's time for a more cooperative approach between the various orgs.

I don't know where you got your interpretation of independence from.

Independence doesn't mean isolating yourself from everyone, it just means isolating yourself from parasites and vultures.

The process necessarily involves making new friends, whether locally or abroad.

Every secession movement throughout the entire world understands the need for support when you wish to disassociate from parasites. Trump is different in that he doesn't believe in secession. He just recognizes the need for some form of separation when you as a minority are not appreciated, and are threatened with violence.

I think its beyond a "could backfire", it will backfire.

Trump is only in place for 4 years, and something like CI will take 20 years in ideal conditions.

I've explained that a few times. Most rational people know that Trump is a hugely dishonest ignoramus and a rather large embarrassment.

So getting him to back a cause would mean a loss of support amongst rational people. I would have thought that CI would be better served by courting the support of rational people, not chasing them even further away.
