Awesome, future clients will forever be in your debt.
It is wonderful that there are still huge companies that takes note of what their clients say to improve their business practices.

I had a 7 page paper document and a doc on PC screen that I had to certify as identical. I didn't know how to do that.

Like this:

sit with my finger on the paper and a finger on the screen and check all 7 pages for any discrepancies. If there were no differences then I should sign the paper document and take their card.

Sorted.

But really dude? Of course they're gonna be the same, if they're not they would be invalid instantly...

That is what I really, really wanted to do but nobody in the branch or in the backoffice support could tell me "how" to do that.

The proxy-CEO eventually made a decision and she told me to sit with my finger on the paper and a finger on the screen and check all 7 pages for any discrepancies. If there were no differences then I should sign the paper document and take their card.

You did all that. If so you did justify your own nick well......er I mean the last part, t...fool!

How else would you do it instead of comparing what was on the screen and the printed document.

This is the most insightful comment of all. No one comes close so far. If LaraC is from Stellenbosch she is probably the senior management I have been dealing with since last week because I told her I was doing it to make the contract better for everyone.
Colett from Capitec phoned to find out how I was doing without any money. I had tinned pilchards for supper last night and tinned baked beans the night before. The cat is living off fridge leftovers.

All because you couldn't compare a printed document and something on a screen? You know you signed it the first time you got a card from them.

I am sorry but this is entirely your fault considering you didn't have your card replaced before it expired.

This is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start. So I won't :)

Please name one? You're blaming capitec because you didn't want to compare two documents, because.. You didn't know how?

No, I'm blaming Capitec because they didn't know how.

Level One:
You know you signed it the first time you got a card from them.
No this is a new contract that is why I need to sign it.

Lol blaming Capitec for you having no money because of your expired card... I still have no idea what you signed or refused to sign.

That says more about you than it says about this thread. Dig deep and think hard, start at the top of the thread and you might get there. Good Luck.

I suggest you open a case of fraud at the SAPS. Start using cash only and close down any banking accounts you may have because you have simply proven YOU'RE TOO STUPID FOR BANKING.

She ain't...

I love taking good staff from 'bad' companies and getting them better jobs. LaraC might be such an employee, I only read his/her comments today, but maybe. They (he/she doesn't matter) made one post and it was right on the money. They showed insight and if they work for a mediocre company it is easy to get them interviews in the best companies who will appreciate their talents. I took many staff off Telkom and other companies because good people should not work for slapgat companies.
