Nice guys, your "take home" from the OP is "You are responsible for your cards"

Firstly "the card remains the property of the bank", I only get to use it by their grace and T&Cs. Yes I could have been more aware BUT ...

Nobody seems concerned that I had to go all the way to the Office of CEO before a bank employee could tell me how to complete their Agreement.

Nobody seems concerned that many Capitec customers have signed the Agreement without truthfully completing the legal requirements of Reading, Understanding, Certifying and Accepting the Agreement. All of those customers have lied on a legal document and Capitec was well aware of that and seemingly OK with it.

Just lol

I'm afraid if I tell you that, you might make thread about it...

I might tell your employer that he is paying good money for a lemon.
If you are a star employee, he will laugh at me but ... if you are as dof as your posts he will start thinking about how much he pays you.

And this, kids, is why you should always carry *two* cards on you, from *different* banks. That covers you against:
A: Running out of money on one of your cards
B: A technical problem with only one of the banks
C: A problem with either one of your cards

It's a simple thing to do, and it's saved me many times.

I moved my 100k to a money market account. You know eggs and basket...

Ah okay, well that's alright then. What insurance do you have if your card is skimmed? I'd be cautious of keeping that much cash in an account you use frequently.

A: Capitec talks to me because they believe I might not run out of money soon. I have no shortage, I have a Capitec access problem. Capitec have served me well for many years until I read their BS Agreement. They agree with me and they say they will fix it soon. I think the senior manager Colett is totally honest about that.

B & C: Sorry I can't help you with that.

Yes I know you are short on ideas but it's the latest contract that Capitec will now be changing because of me and the top management I managed to correspond with this week.

Stop bluffing yourself. Please come here in a few weeks and show us how the contract changed. I hate people spewing BS just to feel important!

Capitec has pocket accounts. Only one account is linked to your card. I keep no money in my main account, if I need to make a purchase i just do an account to account transfer that goes through same time imo much safer.

Omg ! It just gets better.

I have the current account agreement ( 2 weeks old )

Please post your sources and new agreement chances that YOU apparently convinced them to change.

So we can sniff through your BS
