Did you not receive any notification about your expired card?
How do you know he got communication?
I never got communication from FNB when my cards expired. Does one normally? -Genuine question not a troll post.
I get an SMS and then a phone call to confirm delivery information and details. They deliver it to my office, just show them my ID, sign their delivery form and activate the card online. I went in the first time and the lady told asked me why I'd bothered.
EDIT: I've got my bond with them if that counts for anything.
The regular card is just for electronic purchases with the pin. It can be converted to a Mastercard with the securecode.Yup, it has the security of a credit card like Securecode or 3D payment I think it's called.
... Then what?? Super Grandmaster please tell me ...
My cards never physically survive before they expire
Luckily my bank does not charge for replacement cards.
This is the most insightful comment of all. No one comes close so far. If LaraC is from Stellenbosch she is probably the senior management I have been dealing with since last week because I told her I was doing it to make the contract better for everyone.
Colett from Capitec phoned to find out how I was doing without any money. I had tinned pilchards for supper last night and tinned baked beans the night before. The cat is living off fridge leftovers.
No, I’m not affiliated to Capitec in any way. It seems that you are very impressed how Colett and the Bank are dealing with the situation. This is the most insightful comment of all. The cat is always the first to suffer.![]()
Very frustrated initially dealing with people who struggled to understand the problem but finally I am impressed. Nothing has changed yet but promises have been made and I trust sincere efforts, by Colett any way, will be made. I did have to go through 5 levels of "Customer Service" before I got to someone who could understand my question. I am not sure I could ever get to the same level at one of the other banks. No, I’m not affiliated to Capitec in any way. All a customer wants is to be treated fairly and when there is a disagreement that the company listen until a mutual agreement is reached.
Hopefully it is sorted out soon and the issue is put to rest. Well done Colett.![]()
I went to Capitec Stellenbosch there is no Collet
Yes proof please.
We've been asking for it since your first post.
