Hi It seems to me that capped speeds are quite reasonable these days. I used to be unable to do anything once I had reached my cap, now it seems to function like a dial-up connection for international sites.

This is really great if telkom have increased the bandwidth available once the cap has been reached.

Any info ?

Sorry I take back what I said. Got a bit excited. It is still just as slow as always. I can not even connect to msn messenger.
Thanks

I also had a period of mild anxiety when I had a similar experience earlier this month. The attack only lasted a short while as the crappy service resumed again.

You guys should take a gander at that topic

If you take your ADSL, R700, and the account, 300, add Sentech MyWireless 128k R649. With a linux router setup like that, you can have a pretty sweet setup.

I mean, a crappy analogue leased line cost that much! If I wasn't planning on moving around alot (hence why Sentech is ideal for me) I would have had the exact same setup.
