Capping; bandwidth issues since 1Nov

Hi guys

Don't know if it is just me, but since the new Telkom regulations on capping and the new regulations on ISP, my 10 gig cap is reaching its limit in worryingly fast pace. I used to have a account at Axxess where I got brilliant service, but with the new prices I decided to go for SA online's 10gig option. Their service seems to be good, but within 10 days they informed me that I have 1 gig remaining! It is hard to believe that I could have used 1 Gig of downloading/uploading per day! That would be closer to about maximum 5 gig I used for the entire period.
I could be wrong, but with intensive downloading my 30 gig Axxess account never reached its monthly cap, and now with not downloading much I am already capped after 12 days!

I would just like to know if this has anything to do with the new regulations that Telkom put on ISP's by forcing them to monitor customer bandwidth usage themselves? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not trying to accuse anyone, I might be wrong about my usage but I am just concerned

axxess capping was and still is is screwed... they are going to lose a lot of money this month because their monitoring works to their own detriment. Last month I was well over my axxess cap...so unless you know how much you were pulling each day, you cant really say anything.

One thing I noticed about saol - they're pretty accurate but a few times I've had lots of bad data come down through good torrents (all legal stuff dont fuss) through a saol account so a few times an 80 mb file took 400 mb to download.. that was annoying... not sure its entirely to do with saol..

Axxess's monitoring feeds straight from saix (or if doesn't, can).
Therefore Saix monitoring would be stuffed as well
