Wtf.

I’ve never bought tyres with anything else.

And I know plenty of people who have bought motorcycles on their credit card so can’t see why cars would be different.

Iirc this was some super expensive Porsche tyres or some such and the dealers weren't keen (but I could be remembering it wrong)...

I'd totally consider buying on the CC for the eBucks haul (and settling the CC from the bond immediately).

These threads sometimes can really spoil ones 'long weekend'. I just checked my car finance interest rate and couldn't believe I actually accepted prime +1,5.
