Has anyone had any experience with the Proclip range?

Haven't used any vehicle mounts. Looks okay, but why pay over R300 more for the "active" one when you can just plug a car charger into it?

... only thing I don't like about the proclip for my car is that i mounts over one of the the airconn vents
