so why is it BMW depreciate much than a equivalent car, answer me that? why is it always so hard to repair them compared to anything else?Actually no, they generally aren't made in the same factory from the same materials etc.... and all dealerships charge a stupid markup on parts, not just BMW...
And no, the BMW's oil filter is not always in a retarded location that you have to dismantle half the car to get out (different cars have it in different locations, some are retarded and some aren't)... I'm looking at the F30 and the oil filter is right at the top of the motor, all you need to do is open the bonnet to get to it.

because the parts prices are insane on a BMW, much more than any normal car, why? because that's the only reason you buy them, because the parts cost a fortune.
admit it TB, what does your Blue light BMW do BETTER than a equivalent Toyota or Nisan? does it take you from A- to B?
yes, does it take the same amount of Petrol/Diesel? yes, does it have a Radio? yes, so what makes it BETTER? as far as I can tell nothing, except perhaps STATUS.
and that's actually what your buying, status, a car that says I'm rich and stupid enough to buy this over a much more practical/functional car,
maybe I'm wrong, totally possible, and I accept that, but I always say, what do you actually need? do you need massaging seats?
No, do you need Lane guidance and Blind spot recognition? no? you can do without all of that, and people survived for years, perfectly well without it.
but again, I know why cheap and reliable cars are harder to find, as where will the manufacturers make money?
if you say so, I clearly am delusional and insane and quite mad, but I honestly dont care.Again you're speaking out of your rectal cavity....
BMW doesn't even feature a model in the top 10 worst depreciating cars in this country.
But clearly, your mind is made up that you are going to stick to your stupid point of view regardless of any reality that shows otherwise.

I think what I want, and to hell with the rest, if you dont like what I say, the ignore button is right there.
wont feel bad about it, I block plenty of people myself,
Then you're in for a rude awakening. Guaranteed buy-back and lease options usually have the distance capped at a pretty low level, so it really defeats the purpose of buying a comfortable motorway cruiser.if I were to spend 5K on a car, id spend it on one of these, especially if I do the insane mileage justifying a comfortable car for long journeys.
I have 2003 5 series with air suspension, I wouldn't exactly call it a new or experimental feature.so why is it on a premium brand it costs so much to fix?
why is it its super expensive to fix air suspension for instance on a Mercedes? where 1 air Shock can cost 10K to replace.
its because that's where the premium brand comes into it, you pay much more for something experimental than for something common.
so Air suspension hasn't been worked out how to work reliably in something like a Corolla, so lets put it in a BMW, and have people "test" it,
and charge a bomb to fix it when it breaks.
meanwhile us plebs, stick with "ordinary" steel coils, as a example. becuse its cheap and there is a big aftermarket for it.
not so much for air suspension, with its crazy pumps and lines and rubber components that deteriorate, and difficult to fix/replace.
hmmm maybe yours is old enough to still do thisI have 2003 5 series with air suspension, I wouldn't exactly call it a new or experimental feature.
I also replaced my own bags in my driveway with limited tools and mechanical know how, thanks to the countless diy tutorials available - 2 hours later both sides were done. Yes the cost of spares from bmw was ridiculous, like most dealers, but I just got some of ebay for a fraction of the price.
They all work on a similar principle. The newer models will have less diy resources available until someone figures it out and shares it.hmmm maybe yours is old enough to still do this
yeah the physics of the air suspension may be the same, but the feedback systems and electronics are likely much more complex. They all work on a similar principle. The newer models will have less diy resources available until someone figures it out and shares it.
No one is going to ignore you, you are going to be told when you are talking BS, it's for your own good, we would have failed you as members of this forum if we just let you be to go and embarrass yourself even further out of the confines of this forum.if you say so, I clearly am delusional and insane and quite mad, but I honestly dont care.
