If you are displaying be sure to be there very early, I'll be at the gates at about 06:30 lining up in the queue to get in. If the add says gates open at 8 be there about 2 hours before, if you think you'll rock up at 8 to get in at 8 you will get in at 10 maybe.

The Ford Escort owners club sent me this. Not going with the Escort as it is under restoration. Going with the Skyline.
The layout of the terrain, I will most probably be standing in the non club members or in the Carletonville collectors spot.

Zwartkops' website finally back up, been trying since yesterday

Excellence, Entertainment & Extreme Spectator Enjoyment!

That is what Cars in the Park, Pretoria, is renowned for and on 2 August 2015 the event will take place for the 36th consecutive year. Other motor shows may have prettier surroundings, some may be more focussed on one or two aspects of the old car movement – but for sheer variety and numbers NO other old car show in South Africa can compare with Cars in the Park.

The event, organised by the Pretoria Old Motor Club brings more than 3000 special interest vehicles, more than 30 commercially related displays and 15 000 visitors to the Zwartkops Race Track annually – and it keeps growing! So if your interest lies in cars of any sort, albeit old or new, this is the event to be at.

More than 100 clubs are invited to be part of the event and the display of cars and motorcycles built prior to 1985 are complimented by new technology, the latest designs and all types of add-ons for vehicles. Add to this the market on the track and kiddie’s entertainment and you have the perfect recipe for a family day out. Food and drinks are available, which ensures that the visitors to the event stay for the day.

The event offers excellent exposure for your brand to a captive audience with a specific interest in motoring, vehicles and accessories. Previous exhibitors have reported excellent sales and we know that this platform offers a special opportunity for marketing. To benefit from the event, you need to book exhibition space as soon as possible – our limited space sells very quickly when bookings open in January.

A space of 10 x 10m will be R10 000 – marketing spent at less than R1 per person! Smaller stands are available.

Cars in the Park will also host the Buick Club’ 15th anniversary exhibition. A great display of race cars that raced at the old Grand Central and old Kyalami tracks is to be expected. The Zwartkops Kart Circuit will be open for those looking for action. There will be Commercial Exhibitors, Art and Craft Market, Flea Market and a Food Market.

For more information and bookings, contact Frik Kraamwinkel on 083 627 4532 or email: frikkr@gmail.com or Hanlie Delport on 082 908 2295 or email: carsinpark2015@gmail.com.

Spectators: Entry from 08:00 @ R100 per person older than 12.

Exhibitors: Gates open from 06:00 to 09:00
.

Two persons per exhibitor vehicle gets Free Entry but after 09:00 it will cost R100 per vehicle.

Need to get there very early. will probably leave home at 05h30 :(
