Hmmm - Cosatu upset about the impact it has on the poor. Well if you can afford the computer and the outrageous teklom internet fees I doubt you could be classified as poor.

Concern was expressed about the proposal to limit the number of interactive gaming operators. This could exclude operators from other countries and so contravene international treaties, the committee was told.
The regulator should also be empowered to block unlicensed interactive casinos from carrying on business in SA and block the flow of funds to them

This sounds like a ploy to eventually discourage SA participation in UK/Euro Lottery. I was reading an article recently which estimated that the growth in SA participation in international online lotteries to be around 1,800% since the local lottery bunfight.

In any case how are they possibly going to prevent me using my credit card to purchase tickets?
