What's wrong with Marcel. He plays a hard game, which is more than I can say about the bone collector willem alberts who's been doing very little lately (when he's not injured).

Plays a hard game. Jap that sums him up perfectly.
Runs into all and sunder. That is the sum total of what he does, this guy has zero ball skills. Just crash and bash into the biggest guy he sees in front of him. Tackles and turnovers he gets a few, but has no linking ability, no running into space, no support lines just that.
If he was taller and played lock he could be goat (greatest of all time) but now he is on the flanks where he doesnt have enough skills for the modern game.

/inb4 sharks supporters yelling at me.

Lulz was gonna ask you to prove me wrong, then thought why not give myself the satisfaction of proving myself right.

Go to youtube, search Marcell Coetzee - only results is him getting handed off or some tackles he made, 0 (zero) tribute videos.

I wonder why?

I know some people think he is too old. But he has been playing the best rugby of his life for Toulon recently and that man just gives that little bit more than 100% when he puts on the green and gold.

He is also perfectly suited for Heyneke's crash boom bang game plan. And I know for sure that no player will get past his defence.

I am extremely happy. JS is an exelent player and can now be tested in a faster passed game. If he keeps building on his earlier performances in europe I am very sure most critics will have some hat-pie on Sunday morning.

+1. I am not over the moon about the team. As I also believe that guys like Malherbe and Lambie should see game time. Also a new scrumhalf needs to be found.

Coetzee is a fetcher, that was the agreed role. Marcelle himself has said that is why he is playing more towards the ball as that is the style required of him. Juan Smith is a better line out jumper and a better line runner. Playing two fetchers is as stupid as playing with two no 7 flankers (Remember that brain fart last year?!?!??!).

I do not agree with HM's choices. Hougaard should not be there, Pienaar should be shot and Jannie should Retire.

Who else do you have a problem with and who would you rather see there?
