Stem saam met jou.
Was the same thing when they picked chilliboy for hooker. At the time he was 3rd in line, not even on the bench at the time, Gary Botha and [another player that escapes my mind at this stage] was 1st and 2nd choice hookers at the bulls.

Actually think it was Bandise Maku, who at the time, was 2nd choice behind Botha at the Bulls. Wasn't long when Maku joined the Lions.

Chilliboy was chosen by old Pieter de Villiers. Think he was trying to do the same with Chilliboy as what Jake White did with John Smith. John was Jake's captain when he coach the junior boks, so was Chilliboy Pieter's captain.

Looks like Lood will get full 80 minutes. Eben to replace Bakkies. This is not a bad team at all, barring Ruan Pienaar of course .

1 to 8 is one powerful engine

10 - 15 is one powerful transmission

Sadly, number 9 is the clutch that has been taken from an old beaten-up brown Datsun.

This from Rugby365 is the truth. Brilliantly stated.

I for one hope that RP steps up to the plate and proves every single critic wrong. This is by far our easiest game so if he can't get it right now he has to go

New Zealand:

15 Ben Smith, 14 Cory Jane, 13 Conrad Smith, 12 Ma'a Nonu, 11 Julian Savea, 10 Aaron Cruden, 9 Aaron Smith, 8 Kieran Read, 7 Richie McCaw (captain), 6 Jerome Kaino, 5 Samuel Whitelock, 4 Brodie Retallick, 3 Owen Franks, 2 Dane Coles, 1 Wyatt Crockett

Substitutes: 16 Keven Mealamu, 17 Ben Franks, 18 Joe Moody, 19 Steven Luatua, 20 Sam Cane, 21 TJ Perenara, 22 Beauden Barrett, 23 Malakai Fekitoa

No place for Dagg in the team... hectic. Still a potent team, though.

I agree. When any player pull the Green and Gold over their head I support them 100% and hope that they perform well.

RP has talent, of that we are sure. But it might not be suited to the Boks style of play or the Southern Hemisphere's speedier play.

That's the hammer, the nail and the head there...

BTW, mad your picks? A 'tah-filled Oz side may be enough at home to stop the ABs. I am having second thoughts on my call there.
