Not ignorance. It may have saved some but it also results in some starting their addiction. Funny how cigarettes used to be THE gateway drug nobody wanted to acknowledge. Now it may be vaping.

"Gateway drug" will always exist. Cigs really mess you up. Vaping, much less so. Much, MUCH less so.

Millions of people would not have been able to quit smoking, had it not been for vaping.

So yes, ignorance. Vaping is orders of magnitude less harmful.

No ignorance is making it off as nothing and vaping as being good. "Millions" (an exaggeration perhaps?) may have quit smoking because of it, nobody is denying it. But it's not like there hasn't been other options. The problem being pointed out is that people view it as safe when it really isn't. Just because it's not as bad a cigarettes (something we don't know yet) doesn't mean it isn't bad.

Sure, but it must also be highlighted that there are other alternatives. I know of many people who stopped without vaping.

People don't need protection from themselves. Your lungs are there to provide oxygen to your body, not there for you to look cool. If you don't care about this hate fact, then you shouldn't be supprised when natural selection takes place.

I've quit before... for 7 years. I know it's not that hard... But for now i'm enjoying it. I'm also trying to get a full time degree behind my name while working full time. No time for withdrawal atm.

I haven't had a cig since the day I started vaping - feel better, smell better, my taste is better.

There are indeed those who claim it's good as it stops cigarette smoking without taking into consideration those who would not have otherwise smoked. We don't even know if it's really better than cigarettes unless it can get you to stop smoking. The cigarette industry also showed that smoking wasn't bad with study after study despite the negative effects being quite apparent.

agree, i smoked for 28yrs and then vaped for 5 yrs, big difference, i quit everything 11 months ago, can feel a huge difference now
