Hey Guys,

Has anyone here used CDKEYS for PC games? I am a complete noob when it comes to it so i wanted to find out, if i purchase a game on there, do i then need to download the game from their website and use the serial key provided?

Activating a Product on Steam

How do I register a CD Key to activate a product on Steam?

Please follow these instructions to activate a new retail purchase on Steam:

Launch the Steam client software and log into your Steam account.
Click the Games Menu.
Choose Activate a Product on Steam...
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.

I've used them on numerous occasions as they have some awesome deals.

Like DanDango posted, you have to download the game via the particular "game portal" of the game developer, which in most cases can be done via Steam,Origin,Battle.Net,Uplay and the likes by just redeeming your CD Key on the given portal.
