Cell C’s comeback after Telkom’s anti-contract buy-out ad

That is exactly the reason why in SA they are not allowed to mention the competitor's name.

It takes 2 seconds to turn into a pissing contest.

If memory serves, Mercedes-Benz also alleged that they can drive 'rings' around Audi a few years ago.

Instead of pitching the empty promises against each other, prove it with real-world visible customer service and product superiority.

promotes a cellular contract offering a Huawei P8 smartphone, unlimited calls, and 24GB of data for under R400 per month

Looked around but couldn't find this deal on the telkom website

You must be fun at parties.

I think it was a brilliant advertising. So many ads are pitched at morons.

It was actually BMW saying they could always beat the Bends. I think competition should allow the mention of other companies like it happens in the state.
But than again it wouldn't have these "subtle" attempts at mocking the competition.

Telkom funny; Cell C snarky

Telkom's ad doesn't even make sense...Cell C offers you a way to get out of a contract. Telkom says they will give a deal so good that you can just say bye to your provider and move to them. And then what? Pay the R10 000 out of your own money to get out of your existing contract? So "Telkom Dumb: Cell C funny"

The only contract you'd want to be bought out of is a Cell C contract.
