I have a Cell C 2GB 3G - 12 months (which I paid R1499 once off).

I did some basic browsing today, checked my mail and looked at a few sites and just noticed that I have utilized 300MB of data (I probably used the internet for not more than an hour). My 2GB usually gets loaded on the 1st of every month. I'm now sitting on 1.7GB left for the month. Last month I also found that my 2GB was depleted by the 15th and after loading 500MB, it was again depleted within days.

Do I have a virus? If so, how can I get rid of it?

I am currently running e-scan and ran several scans, however nothing was picked up.

Any input / suggestions is gladly appreciated.

thanks

This may explain part of your problem:
Cell-C data reset a day early

Have a look at Cucusoft Net Guard. This program will tell you which programs are accessing the Internet and how much data each one is using.
