You can not buy in joburg untill they launch in joburg. You can only buy from the cities where is it launched already. It will work in JHB with full speeds if you are in cell c's coverage area where they are testing the service.

The Rep said in due time they will be enabled... So you probably have to wait 2months or so

A CellC rep told me that prepaid data bundles will be available in October but can't see anything on their website yet.
Does anyone know when it will be available?

Well the network is still kicking users off (A normal Cell C simcard) so the data bundles would come in when we are allowed on the network i guess.

DAM 4GS is taken out all over!

31st October will be the launch day for Johannesburg I would recommend buying your data bundles on the 2nd then

Yea I would think the 14th is unlikely considering that it is already the 14th and we haven't heard anything concrete yet about it being launched then.

1st of October is the date I got.

Its likely that the network will be officially made available to the public on 31 Oct. 2010 (i.e. a verbal announcement or press release) but units will only start being sold from the 1st of November.

I have now decided to get myself one. Going to reserve one this afternoon.

Wish me luck guys. I see its run out in Cape Town.

If Jhb is the last one for now, that means PTA loses out?
