Cell C and phone stock

Does anyone ever have issues when attempting to get a new phone? They keep such low stock in stores, that it seems like they never have stock.

Example: Samsung wave last year, no stock in PE and they could never confirm when they would get stock in.

Blackberry curve 3g 9300 same time frame, no stock for 3 months

Samsung wave 2, stock comes in yesterday, gets sold out the same day.

So why do both the major PE stores never keep enough stock for any form of demand?

We had the same issue at a Cape Town vodacom store and after waiting weeks on a stock request list, just purchased another phone model elsewhere...

My friend had the same problem with BlackBerry 9300 3G curv, she ordered the phone from CELLC DIRECT and yeah the consultant messed up the order address by about 10 blocks or the next day they told her unfortunately we dont have stock..
