Cell C Blackberry Curve 8520

Hi there,

I know this question has been asked to death, but I didn't have any luck finding anything relevant to my problem on the forum.

I want to buy a Blackberry Curve 8520 from Makro it's on the Cell C network. And I am currently using Vodacom, and would not like to switch providers. So I was wondering if this Blackberry would be locked on the Cell C network?

I Googled it and a bunch of sites came up with unlock codes for Cell C Blackberry which leads me to believe that it is.

Has anyone bought a Cell C BB and used it on the Vodacom network successfully?

Any replies will be much appreciated!

legaly phones in SA cannot be network locked, but the networks will tell u that u void the gurantee if u use it on another network

Turns out Makro had a Vodacom version too. So I ended up getting that.
