Cell c carrier settings update error on ipad 2

Hi

I popped a new cell c prepaid simcard into my ipad 2 today and when I press the update button in itunes I get this error.

Does anyone know what this is all about and if there is anyway to fix it?

Dont think cellc have ipad settings, but if your sim have data on, it should connect.... i do use my cell c sim in my iphone, but get only Edge, think its on different frequency, (the fast network)

But if someone can shed some light on faster speeds with CellC in iphone/ipad , will be great.

I'm using Vodacom on my iPhone 4 and I hardly ever get 3g where I live.
But I am getting a solid 3g connection now with Cell c and it is connecting perfectly, apparently the radio is pretty damn good on the iPad 2.

I will just have to turn on airplane mode for now when I want to update, not really a problem.

Mine did that the other day on vodacom! Nothing to worry about, Internet still works!

And what speeds to you get with CellC, cause in my iphone, i dont get more than Edge

Thats why I am saying the radio in the ipad 2 seems good, because my Mother's iPhone is on cellc too and never gets 3g here either same as my iPhone 4 on Vodacom, but if I turn the iPad's wifi off it is constantly on 3g + full signal.

As for speeds I have no idea as I only use it when I am out and use the wifi at home, not sure if there is a way to see speeds on the ipad but pages are loading pretty damn fast.

What Iphone has your Mother got ?
As the 3G / 3Gs will only get edge on Cell C as its not 900 compatible.
The Iphone 4 works fine on the Cell C network.

In connection to your ipad if you switch to airplane mode and then try update does that work ?
Will try test and see if can get that error with an Ipad.

It does not seem to be happening since the IOS 5.01 update, but turning on airplane mode did stop the error from appearing in itunes.
