Sign up with GoogleI bought three of the 5GB/month specials when Lars was boss of Cell C. I was over the moon - cheap data and the speeds to my home were around 10 Mbps - FANTASTIC !!!!
My deals eventually expired and with Cell C not having the same deal, I moved to the 8ta 10 GB deal towards the end of last year. I have been thrilled with 8ta, but lately 10GB/month has not been enough to last the entire month.
So, I thought I would fill the remainder of the month with Cell C's new 15c/Mb data. I was accustomed to Cell C's previous fast speeds here (and also 8ta's very fast speeds). I loaded enough money onto my Cell C SIM, so it could give me 2 or 3 GB to see me to the end of the month.

Cell C has degenerated to 0.15 Mbps in Richards Bay - and it used to be around 10 Mbps 1 - 2 years ago. NOTE: I have a full 3G signal from the tower, so the problem is not on my side.
If a Cell C rep is reading, PLEASE increase your bandwidth to Richards Bay !!!! or else I will be forced to buy a second 8ta 10GB/month contract.
This is painful trying to surf the internet at these speeds. It is like surfing at the old dial-up days.
