My wife just came from CellC in Zevenvacht to enquire about an upgrade
Here's the deal:
She had a CellC contract for 3 or 4 years now. She lost the phone a year into her contract, but since she had another phone she never bothered to cancel the contract once the two years were up - she's been paying it for a year now without her having received a SIM nor handset from CellC (wimminz!)
Last year she was eligible for an upgrade and called them. She went through the process of applying for a phone, but through some screw up she cancelled the upgrade (never received the phone, never signed for anything). The reason was CellC didn't have her new address and still had her parents' address on their systems, RAM refused to deliver.
So my wife said, fine, leave it then.
She went to CellC today to go look at a specific phone she's interested in. They told her that she already upgraded??? :wtf:
How on earth can they claim that when they have no record of her ever receiving the phone.
CellC rep, could it be they never rolled back the transaction?
