My pad (in Roodepoort) is still rolling at 128kbps tops on GPRS, guaranteed. Broadband by 2020 - shmodband.
And I see you have decided to take R100.20 from my account for that stick of yours that I brought back to you before the CPA seven day period.
Is your technician who is supposed to check my connection speed at my place perhaps a phantom one because I have been waiting to here whether or not that check was done since June?
No offence to the peeps in Kimberley, you need it too there. Cell C needs to sort out things where they started before they can claim to be reaching unchartered territories.

uh huh... and then their competitive edge would be? Frankly they just introduced 2 more so I doubt the old ones are going away soon without having viable replacements.

They are making a killing with their promo's currently. And they know it. For some reason it's working and I have moved from MTN to CellC for my internet and I'm sure I speak for a few other people too. CellC has always been selling BW for allot cheaper than the 2 big guys. I recall R 0.50 a MB flat rate when the other still charged R 2.00. And CellC at that stage only had Edge. Which made sense. Now they have the same type of tech as the 2 big guns and under cutting them HUGELY!. Even if Vodacom or MTN matches these offers I won't leave CellC now. However, if CellC was to kick me in the teeth now after moving to them, then I'll move somewhere else.
CellC has a winning formula here currently, even if only on Data. I doubt they'll be stupid enough to change it now.

I know at what price some of these networks get their data or should I say how much an actual MB cost these people.
They make a killing on Data and I know that for a fact. I don't know the figures for CellC though but even at selling it for R 0.50 per MB they make an extremely good profit.

I don't think I'm in a position to give that info though. I worked for one of these networks. I know what a MB costs them
