Hi guys

If I were to buy a prepaid SIM today, will I still be able to get the 500mb for R50 deal?

So what will I need to get this going?
And how do I recharge to get the correct deal?

Obviously a RICA'd Cell C sim card.

Recharge with R50 or R100. That's the only input you need to do on your side.

Do these specials/bundles only work on pre-paid, or will it work on a contract number?

To the best of my knowledge, pre-paid only. My kid is loving it. Every week, I put R50.00 talk time on his pre-paid SIM, and he gets 500Mbytes data ... , each evening my E367 modem gets hi-jacked for over an hour while he plays online ... , my ADSL cap, will last till month end as a result :)

YEP!!!

He gets to play +/- 1hour a day, and download a few You-Tube video's. So yes, he gets enough time to study, and if his homework is not done, then the "hi-jacking" of the modem, is very seriously resisted :D

this is really good for people that can not afford a contract etc.
Can one use it in a smart phone too? or only in a 3G modem (stick)
