Cell C rep assistance please

Hi,

I have a vodafone huawei E220 modem that is locked.

Is it possible for cell c to unlock it for me so that I can use my 2g x 24mnths in it pls

Yes, any network provider can unlock it (and especially the provider from whom you purchased it). In theory it should not be network locked but the E220 could have been distributed prior to that ruling.

If you got it from Vodacom South Africa then it isn't locked.

The E220 doesn't support UMTS 900, so it is not the best modem to use on Cell-C.

Consider buying a new Huawei modem.

Now Im confused I read widely from people that have been around that " E220 doesn't support UMTS 900"
but Cell C please fix this page because you are saying it is!!!!
