I’m so tired phoning and fighting about problems with Cell C.
this is my wonderful story...
so my phone went in to repairs, for the second time, because:

My phone was booked in on the 30/08/2011.

The problem was, they did not fix my phone the first time around, when I sent it in for repairs. I ticked off in the “Handset Fault” section what all was wrong with this phone.
Namely: Phone Freezes, Ringer/Vibra not working, Poor Signal, Not Charging. All they did, was upgraded the software.

They gave me my phone back, still not charging. I went back to the cellc shop, filled in the forms. Gave my phone in.
Their "wonderful Staff" told me, “you will have your phone back in plus minus 3 weeks”. I was not happy, driving up and down, because it was still not fixed.

Then they phoned me, and said, AGAIN I must come back to the store, and fill out another form, because they forgot to send it through as a covered/insured phone.
Again I went back, filled in the forms, and went back home. (Wasting my time and petrol)

Now. It’s been two months. Guess what.... STILL NO PHONE :D I have been phoning every week. I have filled in incident forms (x4 times just by the way), I have spoken to the supervisor at the shop... - shock horror, he has not come back to me either. I have left emails to cell c, shock horror - They also just leave it.

I have had it, I am sick and tired wasting my time on something small like this.

Now they want to charge me R 550 for a phone that is under CellC Cover... Good Luck!!!
I will not be paying for a mistake a cell c staff member made.

Ok...I'm calm. -gets paper bag-

8ta seems to be offering very good contract prices...

I use Vodacom though and they offer fair service.

One problem you cant fix is Cell C's poor signal. They claim their "4Gs" Network offers better coverage but it doesn't. Where I live there is NO CELL C Signal not even 1 Bar on the Cell Phone.

What type of phone is it? If its a nokia you couldve taken it yourself to the repair centre. The first one is free.

where I stay my signal strength for all the networks are almost the same. 45 to 50 percent all of them lol
