Just a word of caution when dealing with cellc, as I learnt it the hard way and still have a problem that remains un-resolved.
on 21 April 2011 I bought a cell c 2GB per month data sim for R999 only to realise now that I spent R999 on a piece of plastic worth about 99c as once my cellphone number got loaded on it there is no longer any data bundle. Called their call centre, told to go back to store and call from there to have the problem resolved, after waiting on my phone with the store attendant for 35 minutes..... u guessed it, no answer. brilliantly they treated me with on going music that seems to loop (a mere 3 songs I think).
coming back from the holidays and finally having some time to goto cellc, this time its the head office in Sandton, sent off to their offices at sandhurst (cnr rivonis / eton). waited their for 2 hours and 50 minutes (from 1:23 to 4:10) the attendant there was very patient with me as I grew ever impatient, with their internal support centre staff pushing this case around, I got fed up!!!!!!! THAT WAS THAT, I wasn't gonna wait a minute longer.
Do NOT let yourself to EVER EVER EVER !!! require the service of a cellc tech support centre.
IF cell c rep is reading this, you WILL get someone to contact me, you WILL resolve my problem without me having to visit another office in Sandton / midrand (ur tech centre, see i already know that).
