Cellc has WORST customer service OF THEM ALL

This just went from bad to worse, (worst to start off with so really don't have more adjectives to go further with).

Now my number just got wiped off all the sim cards that I have, the one that had it on without the DATA no longer has network access, the new one has some other number on it and the old one before is completely dead.

This is so typical of customer services.

Just great.

Just called my number and its already been sold to another person, she bought it in Soweto, a cellc sim card from pep.

PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!!

I really want to know if anyone else has ever had their number sold to some other people before.

And their customer support line was really un-helpful until I spoke to a supervisor.

So just hoping they will actually manage to sort it out.

never happened to me on MTN. Then again, you definitely wouldn't want to hear what HAS happened either :|

Update! Got my number back @ around 2PM without having to shout at them again today, however all my airtime was gone!!!!

U simply can't have everything fixed in one go, if you ask for a car, they will give you one without wheels, so, now I must also ask for the wheels which is mine to start off with.

There was a thread very very similar to what happened to you on these boards, I'll see if I can find it. Hello Peter them too.

Except my sim card is in my phone the whole time, and then suddenly, poof, u can't register onto the cellc network anymore.

Cell C's customer service can't be worse than Telkom's. They are so incompetent I don't even have words for them.

I haven't been with Cell C long, but have requested their assistance on 4 occasions and their feedback has been prompt and what I required, so I really cant complain - I can however say that Telkom are the worst bunch I've EVER come across and have now cancelled all my services that I was supposed to get from these Baasteds

So true, already got 2 numbers that I had to repeat so many times "this is my number anr has been forever" again and again.

At least got the number back and a call from cell c rep on mybb. at least this time I feel like they are treating me like a client.

as with telkom, they are hell but they have not sold my home phone number to some random person in a pep store.

Its been over 3 weeks since my number came back to me, and still I didn't get my credit back, over R90 of airtime before i lost my number and the rest I had to use up for data. and Cellc rep actually promised compensation? I must be dreaming really really dreaming to believe in anything any cell companies have to say.
