@cellc plattekloof headoffice do not adhere to #SAnationalConsumerAct. I purchase a 3G modem the day before yesterday & return it yesterday b'cause I only had edge coverage in my area. This is after Anton Baatjies the sales consultant told me he check with their network guys before ringing the item up, that I have full 3g coverage at my address.
With the item intact and my proof of purchase I asked for my money, just to be told that all refunds are done in Jhb and I will have wait 2 weeks for my money to be return to my bank account.
It is their company policy and it is in their T&C's. Which is not on my purchase sales slip(T&C's)and which I not signitured to. What is even worst they gave me an item repair slip. they did not have a credit slip or credit system in place. I told the manager Mr. Scala I delt with businesses operating from Shacks which had better procedures and systems in place than CellC. After a lengthy argument I realised I am not going to get my R1000 back I spend on a Huawei e1820 modem and left.
Please be warne this is going to happened if you going to buy an item from Cellc & return it for a refund.
