So got two Blackberry 9300 contracts from CellC in January this year. One the one phone I keep on getting six card error, contact support they do something on their side. Then it works for about a week or so. After that I am back to square one.

CellC recommends I should have a sim swap done, but want to charge me R150 for it. Is that right and should I have to pay for a faulty sim card?

Why can't you get a pre-paid SIM and do a SIM swap?

I also had a faulty sim. Took me about two weeks to figure out it was the sim card that caused my poor Defy to reboot like crazy. The Eastgate shop charged me R85.00 though...not R150.00.

Good day Linoman

That could be possible, but i don't know what they would charge for admin fees.
Best bet is to try, and let me know. If no luck let me see what i can arrange.

Good Day CELL C:D

Nope apparently no one wants me to do it with a prepaid simcard. Am I just going to go and get the new simcard and pay R150 for my new sim? I mean if I have no choice I will do it, still think its a rip off though

Well, it seems I have no choice but to go and get a simswap and pay the R150 for a faulty contract sim.

/Still feel ripped off but yeah what can one do.
