Do the moderators impose censorship of swearing or valid criticism.

If its the swearing by Noone, then thats okay, but if you removed my topic regarding loosecannon using Sentech's release of emails addresses by mistake to spam people, then I suggest that there is a problem with your judgement.

The issue was debated as stated by lossecannon for approximately 36 hours.....

The reality is that RPM who owns myadsl.co.za allowed the discussion to take place and did not kill the thread should atleast show the level of input into decision on whether the email should be sent.

You had the opportunity to comment and you still have the opportunity to continue your thoughts, just remember that YOU SNOOZED so dont cry about it after the fact.

Just because you are a member of this forum does not imply that you aggreed to what was done.

Personally i think that loosecannon handled the situation correctly by posting all replies positive and negative and i think we should all appreciate the honesty shown.

That's what happens when you're still at the office at 4am ... I think I may have deleted the topic instead of a post ... who knows ... my apologies to Robone... BUT ... personally I'd revert to greedy and kick arse as a good generic reply to your comments about loosecannon's public use of Sentechs' PUBLIC database.

As a matter of principle I berated loosecannon the first time he used the list; I too take serious exception to unsolicited spam; BUT, I too felt that this "spam" was worth it to inform the mywireless customer base at large.

i dont want to gett to deeply involved in this but i will repeat myself that i appreciate your opinions and views on this matter the issue was discussed and consensus reached the mail was only sent after no big objections were raised and telephonicaly speaking to casper casidy and pindi of sentech and rpm ....

the first mail i sent was my own way of showing my dissatisfaction with sentech and was recived overwhelmingly positivly by customers the majority of complaints were from forum members this time round even fewer objections were raised 12 in total out of 1700+ messages sent only 3 replies were pro sentech [out of that only one outright] and 28 replies showing concern with the way sentech operates ...

Its not spam... spam is unsolicited advertising... The author of the email was not talking about making money or anything with regards to profit... he was basicly pointing out that their is a forum for sentech users to compare notes... I am peronally happy that we have this forum as i have gained a lot of insite and information about the real truth behind sentech....

Further more the author stated clearly that this would be sent once... so there was no need to unsubscribe or anything...

I think people should get a life... cuz Sentech are screwing us and I think it is amazing to see people taking action like they have... and you know what... If we all share this sentiment we will force Sentech to rectify their behaviour.

Its how it works all over the world.... South Africans need to wake up. We are no lomger ruled by a racist regime and you can actually exorcise your rights as a consumer and freedom of speech.
