Centurion connection problems (30 July)

Having lots of connection problems tonight (2006/07/30) and especially the last hour or so. Frequent disconnects, currently getting only GPRS, despite (normally) having great 3G signal.

Anyone else, or is it just me?

Nope it is not just you, it's is sucking over here as well.

Connecting to Wierda-1 South. GPRS from my phone was a no go, the 3G is dead slow ........ international is not going anywhere.

Haven't been experiencing connection problems, but the transfer speed is really buggerred. Cannot seem to get more than 34kbits/s (bursts).

I'm in Elarduspark which is technically not in Centurion but its very close.

I'm still having the same probs. Download speeds don't seem to go above 40 kbps too often. Quite frustrating.

Also found international to be particularly slow, even simply unusable. Tried my MTN SIM just now and everything is fine & fast on that.

Having said that it seems to be fractionally better at the moment. Definitely does seem to be coming and going though.
