CGI / PHP Proxy?

Good day

Coming from this thread as I think that this should be posted in here.

I want to run a proxy on my home pc much like ninja proxy website.

eg. I can browse to my home webpage from a different place alltogether and get presented with something similar to ninja proxy.

I found something called CGIProxy but I am quite clueless as how to setup a web server from scratch that supports cgi.

Can anyone recommend a self-install program that will do the job?

Or maybe help me or give me a good link on how to setup a cgi server on my pc?

Why would you want to go the web route? Why not install something like CCProxy? Or Wingate?

Thats not what I meant.
