How can there not be a thread for this yet?

As it stands now, if I recall correctly things are looking good for New Zealand's Northern Knights to go through.

MI put up a great show with that partnership between Lendl Simmons and Hussey Scorecard

To complete MCDs fixtures above, the cobras are facing the northern knights, which qualified for group b, while KKR face the Lahore Lions. They qualified for group A.

Teams:

Chennai Super Kings: Dwayne Smith, Brendon McCullum, Suresh Raina, Faf du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Mohit Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Ishwar Pandey.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Gautam Gambhir, Manvinder Bisla, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Ryan ten Doeschate, Suryakumar Yadav, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins, Umesh Yadav.

CSK definitely look stronger on paper, but this is a funny old game.

CSK 84/3 after 11.4 overs

A wicket every so often pegging the scoring rate.

Since when did the benefit of the doubt not go to the batsman? 2 strange decisions against CSK now.. and a 3rd one for McCullums LBW off his glove.

Chawla to du Plessis, OUT, did he lift his foot there? He looked to drive this ball, tossed up outside off, and it went through with the angle, went between bat and pad, and Bisla whipped off the bails. He overbalanced slightly, and lifted his back foot for just an instant... I think his foot is a centimeter in the air when he disturbs the stumps, but are the bails off before he brings his foot down? What does the big screen say? OUT!

F du Plessis st †Bisla b Chawla 14 (16b 1x4 0x6) SR: 87.50

The "Rock of Gibraltar" goes :(

Not wanting to jinx either side here, but KKR have done reasonably well to keep CSK in check. Not the position CSK would wanted to be in with 4 overs to go.

For crying out loud! I forgot to put the frigging anti-jinxes on!

21 runs off the 17th over. Cummins!

Andre Russel has clubbed KKR within a whisker of the improbable. Just wow!

Nehra gets his 4th wicket and it is the critical Russel who is pinged. The pendulum swings again... or is it too late :)

Nehra to Russell, OUT, what a reply! That was the yorker again, and Russell looks to make some room but before he can bring his bat down his off stump is doing somersaults behind him

From hero to zero as Nehra bowls it wide down leg and Dhoni fails to gather. 5 wides!

Kolkata Knight Riders require another 22 runs with 4 wickets and 21 balls remaining
