Miller-Time also came good tonight. Chuffed to see Sehwag getting some good runs on the board. Hopefully too much for the Knights.

That result could come in very handy for the Cobras.

Dolphins were so disappointing. They outplayed the Lions with the ball but couldn't capitalise. Threw it away with bat. Crestfallen.

This all attack batting approach needs to go. With the exception of Zondo, all of them seem to be aggressive. Not a lot of batsmen to bat around

Agreed. And this been so disappointing. So does it come down to game plan or player selection?

Barbados Tridents 113 (19.4/20 ov)
Hobart Hurricanes 117/4 (18.2/20 ov)

Hobart Hurricanes won by 6 wickets (with 10 balls remaining)

Superb innings from Shoaib innings given that the pitch was not an easy one to bat. It needed someone with experience to manouever the ball around and keep the score ticking. The win was set up by Hurricanes' disciplined effort with the ball that had restricted the Tridents to 113. The loss here for Tridents means they are out of the race for semis along with Cobras and Northern Districts. Time to move over to the other match.

Dead rubber, but hope that the Cobras put up a good game tonight. It has been a disappointing showing from the South African teams.

Amla unleashing:

Shaz: "It is such a pleasure to watch Hashim Amla regardless of the format." He's in some mood tonight!
4.6
Perera to Amla, FOUR, length ball, width offered and Amla has hammered it to the extra cover boundary. Tip that tally to five fours in a row, people!
4.5
Perera to Amla, FOUR, that was poor. Short ball, sat up for Amla to rock back and pull mercilessly to the midwicket boundary
4.4
Perera to Amla, FOUR, how did that go where it did! It was a leading edge, it was Amla trying to recreate that square leg miracle stroke, but Thisara had slowed his pace. The ball lobbed back at him, but too far to his left to leave him with a hope. And it somehow beats mid-off and mid-on!
4.3
Perera to Amla, FOUR, that's not the best follow-up. He was searching for the blockhole perhaps, but this ends up a full toss outside off and Amla scythes it behind point and third man, despite his dive, is not good enough
4.2
Perera to Amla, FOUR, who cares if it was a few stumps outside off, Amla will walk across and demonstrates the power in those wrists. This one should have gone through the covers, instead it careens into the square leg boundary. Bailey is impressed

Definitely comes down to game plan. Lets see if they persist with it today.
