I have a 2005 Jeep with a radio that still plays vinyl records. The cost of needles has gone up so much that I've decided to change it for a new radio.

My problem is that I need to get some kind of face plate to fit a new radio but don't really know where to look online. I found the exact thing I need here at the link below.

Are there similar type websites / shops for South Africa? I've searched and not been able to find any.

They have off the shelf products for your jeep or can custom make them, give them a call for pricing. They need Year & Model though as the wrangler & cherokee etc are not the same.

Maybe you could ask over on the 4x4 community forum. There a lot of jeep guys, maybe some of them could help out

Hi Alfoholic,
Been hitting the juice a bit early this fine Monday? I think what you say above is true but it doesn't have much to do with what I'm asking about. I need the fascia plate to convert the existing radio to a standard one. The Jeep has an odd size radio so the dash needs to be converted before a normal radio will fit.

There is an example of what I'm looking for:

No no juice...you need some:D as this is why I thought the place you buy it from will do it. Everyone else I know who got new decks had the place install...so if yours needs a new "bracket" then they'll make/fabricate one for you...that's their worries not yours.

I know my car will have to be gutted before any deck will fit - I"ve been looking at some Alpine ones and installers said they'll fit it no charge:p

You have a 156. Is that right? I found after marketing brackets for my 156 and Spyder for about R250 each. They make the standard size radio fit perfectly into the dash. The 156 I got from Alfa spare parts. The Spyder I bought online somewhere. Was about 4 years ago though so can't remember the site. I had the 2001 156 and 2003 Spyder.
