Quick question, when one has a car resprayed to a different colour, do you need to inform the traffic department? If so, how do you go about it?

If the colour of your vehicle differs from the colour recorded on eNaTIS, please inform your nearest City MVR office by completing and signing a Change of Particulars of/Notice in respect of Motor Vehicle (CNV) form.

He stays there in my area - works from his house.

He charged me R5.5k, but I had to pay another R600 to a different guy to remove and refit the windows.

I don't have his number, but I'll see if I can get it. Also you can check if there isn't a board somewhere next to that Engen close to me with his details. I'm almost certain I saw a board there. The guy's name is Jerry.

Ja, its a fine line so I'm not sure what legislation there is around wrapping.

You don't have to inform the authorities when wrapping your vehicle. I would inform my insurance though.
