Cheap city cars that you wish came with bigger engines?

Cheap meaning you can buy one for R100k now and it'll have less than 45k on the clock. Also must naturally come with a 1.2l or smaller engine!

Cheap city cars you like that unfortunately have little ****ty engines and you wish they came with 1.6-2.0l engines as an optional extra... Or at least a 1.4l turbo...

I wouldn't mind either;

A red chev spark or a facelift yaris.

Would list the Punto but iirc it has a 1.4l engine as an option so...

Problem is little engines normally comes attached to ****ty cars.

Ford's Ecoboost 1litre comes to mind...superb motor, wrong price.

Ya I know but that car is expensive as fukk - small efficient powerful engines are the future yadda yadda whatever.

Yes that model does come in 1.6, I was actually referring to the 2012 Facelifted model, they got rid of the 1.6 to not hinder sales of the Accent Hatch.

Oh and i own an i20 crdi.
That's a 1.4 turbo diesel... slow as hell lol

Is the diesel really that bad? I have a 1.4 petrol at the moment, was considering finding a decently priced CRDI. What's your fuel consumption like?
