You simply cannot pass up an offer like this.

As BEE schemes go, this is probably one of the better ones. They just need to be vigilant that the rich don't hide behind trusts and consortium's to get more than they are allowed.

I understood that the 11.7 million shares to be sold constituted 'half' of the NEF's total MTN shareholding (the shares purchased on 2002)
If that is the case then is the purchase price not R7.31 per share if they were originally acquired for R171m?
